Her face in panel 3 is PERFECT! I love her eviiiiiiiil smile and laugh! Her hair-hands(?) are so cool! It must be very convenient to have hair that can turn into hands. Ialso luv Andy's WTF expression in the last panel and his expression in panel 3.

I think you got it right. Too many authors try to make their aliens think like earth people. They wouldn't be aliens if their thought processes, reactions, and emotions were the same, would they?
